Shortly after moving into our house, I found this amazing dresser at a thrift store for $60! It was solid wood and offered the perfect amount of storage we were looking for in a side board behind the couch. Originally, we painted it white, which has served us well (especially while our living room wall was teal), but I was ready for a change.

A month ago I was laying in bed, trying to drift off to sleep when a vision popped into my head - our living room’s vaulted ceilings clad with beams. Honestly, I’m shocked I’d never thought of it before in the 8 years we’ve lived in our house. Our ceilings were MADE for beams!
